British Open

This week the PGA Tour heads across the pond for this year’s third major, The British Open Championship. This year the Open will be held in England at Royal St. George Golf course.  My pick of the week is Ian Poulter, the englishmen. One of the biggest factors at this major is weather, revealing who ever can go low will be able to manage out a decent score in almost unplayable weather. I believe Poulter will be able to have a great week, because of his european background. These guys are used to playing in such conditions of a Open championship, but will be a challenge to everyone. Poulter also seems to be under the radar, allowing him to play pressure free. His best finish at the Open was in 2008, finishing in second place. Hopefully Poulter will be able to strike it big this week, allowing me to receive a point and extend my lead. The current score for the pick of week points race or as my fellow blogger calls it “pick thing”, is Bernardo 10 and JJ 8.
Note: So far the golfers I have used this year are-  Bubba Watson, Martin Kaymer, Tiger Woods, Matt Kuchar, Phil Mickelson, Adam Scott, Jason Day, Luke Donald, Rory Mcllroy,Stewart Cink, Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose, David Toms, Lee Westwood, Webb Simpson, Ryan Moore and Steve Stricker
